At an official opening ceremony held in Stara Zagora on 12 March 2026, the Hungarian-owned VIDEOTON Bulgaria inaugurated the fully renovated and expanded production base of its plastic parts factory. Over the past year, the group has invested more than EUR 2 million entirely of its own funds in renovating its industrial park. The project's implementation is an important step in VIDEOTON Bulgaria’s long-term strategy to modernize its facilities and expand production capacity, while also opening up a substantial amount of previously unused space at the site for lease.
The investment, amounting to EUR 2.12 million, covers the complete renovation of the entire area of 10,500 sq. m. of production halls, offices, and a parking lot, which will contribute to the additional optimization, automation, and significant increased efficiency of plastic parts production, as well as to improving the overall appearance of the group's industrial park.
Official guests at the ceremony included His Excellency Dr. Miklós Boros, Ambassador of Hungary in Sofia, Mr. Dani Bechev, Deputy District Governor of Stara Zagora District, Mr. Svetoslav Kolev, Deputy Mayor of Stara Zagora Municipality, representatives of the companies involved in this large-scale project, and long-term business partners of the company.
